I am curious to know about this monstrosity. On one of the walls facing away from where i took the shot from, was what appears to be an entrance to something called Charltons but it is hard to say if it was something like a hotel (yikes) or a nightclub (still yikes).

 

Given that it is between Old Trafford and Old Trafford, in Old Trafford (you probably have to come from Manchester to work that one out, but it does make perfect sense) presumably someone (maybe Sir Bobby?) was trying to use the good name of Sir Bobby, but it is hard to say. There is simply no point doing a web search for Charlton's in Old Trafford and expecting some details of a dilapidated building to come anywhere near the top of the search results.
