Four people in a Triumph Stag
When I was probably about 13 years of age someone we knew took me out for a rather "spirited" drive in his Triumph Stag and it literally changed my life - up to then I'd only every been in a car which was being driven very gingerly by an elderly relative. Ah, now this is what cars are all about I thought. And a few months later I saw two guys with girls on the back of their British Cafe Racer motorcycles one Sunday afternoon, and my fate was sealed - I wanted to be a biker!
And so, in time, I bought some fast cars and built a café racer.
Now if I recall correctly (it was a long time ago) there didn't seem to be much room in the back of a Stag, so I can't imagine that the couple are too comfortable squeezed in there. Plus, it was a lovely day, so why not put the roof down?
The Stag is still a lovely looking car, I must say. Surprisingly its three litre (or so) engine seems to make around the same BHP as my 998cc Ford Ecoboost - but they are made about 50 years apart, so thats understandable.
I know absolutely nothing about "sports" cars (or pretty much cars in general), but is the back wheel supposed to be at that angle?
