Sir Paul McCartney's house

Well he wasn't a "Sir" when he lived here, he was just a kid.

 

Many of the early songs he composed with John Lennon and recorded by The Beatles were written here.

 

It's now in the care of The National Trust who have restored it to pretty much how it was back then. The only way to get in is via The National Trust - hundreds of people come down the street on a commercial coach trip and "on spec" but they can't gain access.
