Speedway

At first glance it may be a bit confusing but, yes, there are two riders and two motorcycles in this image - that is how close Speedway racing is.

 

Belle Vue Aces Speedway.

 

The National Speedway Stadium, Kirkmanshulme Lane, Manchester, England.

 

I'd forgotten the thrill of seeing and hearing (and smelling!) these bikes at close quarters and it was even better seeing them race from inside the track.
