The Wedding Marquee.
We've not been to a wedding in donkey's years but this year we've been invited to a few - and actually accepted the invitations- which we normally don't.
One was a same sex marriage. They paid some sleaze ball up front to take some photos and months later there is no sign of any. Luckily I took my camera gear along - and I'm delighted with some of them.
This was at the second. The "pro" turned up to this one and the photos have arrived. Its interesting to compare our styles, especially on the one of this marquee. I took this with a point and shoot and he had some uber expensive DSLR. He did take some good 'uns - which is perhaps as well, considering the price.
I've been asked to take some at a family wedding in a few weeks time which should be fun - as I also appear to be the chauffeur of the wedding car and the only photographer - as well as being one of the guests! I must work out how to use the self timer - and how to run.
