Stockport. The old and new

I have an important announcement said the person from the Council. Very shortly we'll have a tower crane in the town. Tower cranes are a symbol of urban regeneration.

And here it is.

The site of the new building to be called St Peters Square. Clearly it's not actually a square, but a building. Not to be confused with St Peters square, which is actually a square and located near by. Or the buildings on the other side of St Peters square, one of which is called 1 St Peters Square. Or the St Peters Square outside the Vatican which is in Rome and therefore some distance away.

Then theres the Hat Museum - which is actually a hat museum. They were much more logical in t'olden days.
