Warming up over a cuppa in The Cat and Fiddle Inn
Both of my previous helmets out on the road at the same time?? Surely some mistake? My friend had come over from Greece to stay for the weekend and wanted to go up the legendary ( nay notorious) Cat and Fiddle pass - the A537 Macclesfield to Buxton.
I say notorious because the C&F as we like to call it has been branded as Britain's most dangerous road. A destination for bikers from all over the world (including Greece, obviously) some would say it is Britain's best road.....including me.
It was pretty cold and windy so it was good to nip inside for a warm up.....and the slowest arriving Cappucino in history
