Oulton Park in the 1970s
Taken on my first camera the Kodak Instamatic - on (no surprises here) Kodak film.
We used to go here a fair bit as I think my Dad knew someone who worked for one of the race teams or sponsors so I think we probably got free tickets sometimes.
A year or so ago I had all the family cine films transferred to DVD and one of the Super 8 films was the 1970 Gold Cup at Oulton Park and I remember there being some excitement because the Formula One driver, Jochen Rindt, was driving in the event.
The first motorcycle race I ever participated in (not very successfully I might add) was at Oulton Park, which was pretty cool as I had enjoyed going there to watch the cars all those years earlier.
As ever with my old car photos, any help identifying them would be much appreciated.
