Buckingham Palace - sometime in the 1970s
On a field trip (not that I was near a field particularly) to the centre of London in the 1970s.
This is part of my 1970s "Lost" Photos and negatives Flickr set.
Recently my Dad found a stack of old negatives that I developed myself 40 years or so ago - the majority of which have never been printed before, including this one.
Taken with an Agfa Silette using Ilford FP4 film
I've now got access to an Epson negative scanner and earlier this week I finally finished scanning them all on. With 150 individual shots, it has been slow going even on a low resolution.
It is like travelling back in a time machine. I can see a Morris Minor 1000 and a mk 1 Ford Escort and an Opel Record (thanks to Robin for the ID) being driven towards the Palace.
And people wearing flared trousers.
