Concrete Building
Award winning architecture often means terrible architecture forty years or so later. Here is a concrete monstrosity.
I've always liked the speech Prince Charles made calling a proposed extension to a building a "monstrous carbuncle on the face of a much-loved friend". Its hard to look at a dodgy looking building now without the word Carbuncle coming to mind. Incredibly that speech was 30 years ago.
I just snapped this with my phone when I was walking past, hoping that a piece of concrete wouldn't drop on my head.
