Crossing a ford by motorcycle part 2
Not to be confused with Crossing a ford by motorcycle part 1 - shown below.
Luckily I had managed to get across to take the photo. Crossing fords like this one are more of a challenge than they look - too much throttle or a mere dab of brakes and whoosh - the bike goes away from under you. It always seems like riding on a sheet of glass, to me - all the moss and stuff on the floor. Not everyone got across in one piece, so to speak, even on trail tyres. Some nutter even got across on a road bike with road tyres - no names mentioned.
As usual - it was taken somewhere in deepest darkest Yorkshire, en route to a nice cup of tea and scone.
