The abandoned sneakers

and looking at the condition they are in, am I surprised that someone abandoned them?

 

I often look at some of the items in urbex shots on Flickr and wonder if someone actually brought the items with them and placed the items there for effect.

 

But these old sneakers were definitely like this when I arrived.
