Ghost sign - Bile Beans - York
One of my very first Flickr contacts JD posted a photo earlier of a sign that I recognised as being on the side of a building in York. Being a lover of signs of all kinds - generally the weirder the better - I couldn't think why I would not have taken a photo of it myself. Looking back in the archives - I had. What also transpires is that this has now been restored - as shown in JD's photo. Mine shows the faded original pre-restoration.
