Beach View [in Explore].
The sea wall is a favoured walk in Whitby. Paths zig and zag up the cliff and people walk the beach to Sandsend. The ageing structure is protected by imported Granite blocks [some of them huge]. The beach stretches from Whitby to Sandsend, a distance of about three miles and a lovely walk [though you must be wary of the tides which rise quickly along this coast. Whitby Golf course can be seen [top left] a breezy, sandy links.
A lovely surprise to find this in Explore, this morning. Thank you for looking. your favourites and kind comments will brighten my day, though I'll be sleeping. most of it after a twelve hour nightshift.
