Rainy Day Blues!
A cold and wet summer is disastrous for our butterflies.I spotted this female Common Blue, from my car and it took shelter soon after as the rain arrived. I saw a couple but no males today. The weather has been awful so far this summer, not what these lovely creatures need as they try to create their next generations. I actually dialled back the saturation on this butterfly, it really was beautiful and very colourful.
