On the Verge

In the excitement of capturing my first shot of a wild Barn Owl on a post, I composed with the bird centrally placed but cropped a little for detail and balance of the shot. It was hunting for Voles and very intent on the gound below. My guess from the spotting under the wing is that this may be a female, please correct me if you know better!
