Magical Icicles!
My wife suggested a walk on the Cleveland Way as our permitted exercise to Whitby's foghorn after seeing pictures of these lovely icicles. The clifftop path is frozen where a waterfall has blown back in the wind. Everything was encased in thick ice and looked incredible with globules, like crystal balls, underfoot and ice turning even the mundane into sculpture! The afternoon light helped along with a dusting of snow and we had lots of fun though it was leathally slippery and the ground like iron.
