Chinese Lanterns.

We bought a couple of these Physalis plants and kept them in pots, planning to move them for pretty backgrounds. I've always wanted to try shots like this and have been keeping an eye on the decaying petals. I shot on a breezy but sunny afternoon. I would have included more of the stems, for composition but they were untidy.
