Whitby Abbey is given special treatment around Halloween, every year. I've never been a fan of the effect but go along with my wife, who enjoys it. Having visited the Abbey grounds, where there were lots of people milling around, we headed across to the west cliff to capture some shots. Caedmon's Cross [in front of the Monastery] was back lit and looked striking.
