Taken on the streets of Kolkata in the Behala region. One of striking things about India and Kolkata in particular is the clash of worlds, between old and new ways of life. For example, Kolkata is filled with taxis, cars, buses, trucks, and other vehicles, racing through the streets as fast as they can. But it is also filled with auto rickshaws, cycle rickshaws, and even hand pulled ones. And in addition to all that you will see people on bicycles pulling carts, wagons and other things for pulling people and goods. The amazing thing is that these people all shares the same streets. I shot this picture while sitting in the front seat of our car as we made our way slowly down a side street, sharing the dirt road with all the other traffic around us.
