LCT 7074, is the last known survivor of over 700 that took part in the Normandy invasion on 6 June, 1944.

LCT 7074 was built at Hawthorne Leslie and Co. Ltd on the River Tyne and launched in April 1944,and took part in the D-Day landings on 6 June, 1944 landing tanks and troops on GOLD beach, and in the months that followed carried supplies across the English Channel in support of Allied operations.

 

She is seen being raised and soon to be transported to Portsmouth to the Royal Navy Museum.
