Seen fresh from repaint is Ipswich Buses Mercedes Benz Citaro 153. This REALLY looks good and is a gigantic improvement from the previous livery it wore from new.
153 is a Mercedes Benz O295 Citaro C2 and was purchased new by Ipswich Buses in September 2015. The Citaro’s started life route branded and restricted to services 9 and 10, although initially intended for service 5! In recent times the Mercs have found themselves exiled from Whitton services and can commonly be found on services 12 and 13. 153 is powered by a EURO VI OM936 engine coupled to a ZF Ecomat gearbox.
