It was purchased new by Ipswich Buses in 2005 to work the town network. 62 has a very high capacity which means it is great for school services and is regularly used on the 11a and morning 97 services. 62 was repainted in 2015 into a ‘hybrid park and ride spare’ livery using the blue from the Versa’s but incorporated into the battenburg style livery. 62 is powered by a 9 litre Scania DC9 engine coupled to a ZF Ecomat gearbox.
