Here, I've photographed model Jade Forrest in front of one of my 'favourite' doors in Oxford. This door in Merton Street has always intrigued me as it's quite grand and yet I've never seen anyone use it......
When model Jade Forrest responded to my request for willing portrait subjects and we came up with the theme for the shoot I knew immediately that I wanted to shoot early evening in streets like Merton Street and Queens Lane, seen here. Shooting the subject backlit on these east - west running streets I thought would provide an interesting alternative to shooting with the sun behind me.

Still rather out of my comfort zone shooting people but that's a good reason to do more of it. If anyone is interested in sparing a couple of hours in return for some images feel free to get in touch. Of course it would be helpful if you were based somewhere in the Oxford area.
