UK - London - Nikon School - Film Noir 06_DSC7638
A shot from the Nikon School 'Film Noir' workshop I attended a couple of years ago. Having won a free days training as part of my #Photo24 prize I opted for this course as it is completely different to my normal style and subject for photography.
A small group of us spend a great day photographing a model using off camera flash trying to recreate some classic 'film noir' lighting set-ups.
For this shot the off camera Speedlight flash was fixed to the escape stair railing outside and fired through the basement window to highlight the models face.
I only uploaded one shot from the shoot at the time but over the next few days I'll be uploading some more.
