Italy - Florence - Florence Cathedral Duomo 02_DSC8849
Not quite as sharp as it should be considering it was taken at 1/800th sec but I like this shot of the iconic Florence Cathedral Duomo as the people give a good sense of the scale. Unfortunately I left ascending the dome until my last day only to find it's closed on a Monday, as a seasonsed traveller I should have guessed this (or at least have checked my guidebook......). At least it gives me a very good reason to return to this wonderful city.
