They got to the point where the carts were not allowed to go even out to the cars, but were corraled inside these red posts, tho' it looks like some have been removed. Perhaps they relented on that strict stance.
This was an Apple Market store until just recently. It closed so recently that all signage is still up. Many lights were on, Sunday, only a peek in at empty shelves clued me in that this store wasn't just closed for the day, but CLOSED.
I seem to remember it as a Thriftway, years ago, tho' I never got to this part of town in the 80's. Lived near here briefly Oct 1995 thru Mar 1997. Shopped here all the time when I was running that cafe.
