Project SoulPancake: ART at Arm's Reach
STEP ONE
Scavenge around your desk, barstool, couch cushions for anything handy. And we mean anything: paper clips, poker chips, fake eyelashes, junk mail, bullet casings.
STEP TWO
Create ART.
STEP THREE
Bask in your artistic brilliance.
Repeat as desired.

I've signed up for the PhotoJojo newsletter and today's email had a link to origami love-hearts - this being the week before Valentines and all. PhotoJojo usually have some cool stuff going on and looking around my sister's kitchen (I'm at hers this week) I happened to see a scrap sheet from a report I had to write earlier in the week.
So a few tears to square off the sheet and the folding began. When I had it all folded, I thought it lacked a little something so I unfolded it and spent a few minutes writing 'Love" all over one side of the sheet, then re-folded the sheet.
Given this week's theme, I shot this at arm's length using my laptop screen as a neutral black background. I took some other shots (again at arm's length) with my origami heart over my own heart but it didn't have the oomph I thought it would. Might try it again with out the T-shirt (though I wonder if either Flickr or me is ready for a topless shot).

Edit: Just discovered that this shot made Explore, making it the first photo of mine in Explore. From what I understand of interestingness, this is due in no small part to all the folks viewing and commenting on this image. So to you, I say thank you very much. Being the cynic I am, I shouldn't be this happy, but I can't shake the silly grin on my face so I guess my SoulPancake must be especially delicious today.
