From a motel somewhere in West Virginia- beginning of a vanity project
Sally Reynolds, in a moment of quiet reflection (very rare with this lady) in a non-chain motel somewhere deep in West Virginia or Gods country as I will always now know it.
A beautiful mix of very beautiful country, timeless people, short order cooks that chain smoke whilst cooking ham and eggs and more Baptist chapels than you can shake a cloven foot at.... Too many portrait opportunites, but this was a trip to relax the button finger and reawaken the senses... I have so many images to filter through my hazy brain, hopefully something good will out.
Oh and I had to leave Sally Reynolds in New York city, she's gone to strike out on her own for a bit, so check in on her tumblr to see how shes doing.....
its not as bad a shock to be back as an arrival in England normally is, sunny, warmish and a full class of students for the Creative Photography course tonight. But an 8hr drive, 7hr flight and 5am arrival time at Gatwick aint gonna help my already rambling first week introduction- so if your booked on please excuse the jet-lag induced pauses...
A lot of big shoots in the next 2 weeks ahead, so this is the calm....
