The Excelsior Geyser

Once a powerful Geyser (eruptions up to 91 meters high and as wide as they were high) , Excelsior in the Midway Geyser Basin did significant damage to its internal plumbing and now boils away as more of a hot spring. Regardless this Geyser (or crater) shows the vivid blue of the water visible beneath the steam. Look to the people on the right to get some perspective as to the size of this particular formation.
