Blue hour Norrköping
This is my 300th photo on flickr so I feel it is time to stop and reflect a little bit.
In a few days or weeks my most popular photo counting by views will reach the 10000 views mark. It will fairly soon be followed by others since a lot of my photos get a lot of views. My account as a whole is steadily heading for the 200000 views mark. Interestingly none of the most popular shots ever hit Explore for instance so the views are accumulated in a steady stream.
Sadly enough in my view even though I get a fair share of views very few seem to stop long enough to a give a fave or any comment on what they think is good or bad about the photo so it is hard to tell if people like the photos or not...
Now for some info on this shot.
It is shot in the same location as this, one of the most popular of my shots - It has been ranked the most interesting for over a year now. That was shoot during a night with very special conditions. This was shot a more normal evening but with thing clouds filled with rain hanging overhead.
It was actually raining on and off so one had to be quick, very careful with the camera of the camera and so on but the clouds was actually separate clouds not a thick complete cover. That made the blue hour very pleasant as you can see here.
What do you think? Which of the two do you like the most?
This is an area called industrilandskapet, meaning the industry landscape and was filled with factories a hundred years ago. It is located more or less in the middle of Norrköping's river, Motala Ström as you can see. The very special looking building now houses Arbetets Museum, the labour museum and is because of its shape called "strykjärnet", the flat iron building.
You should really watch this Large On Black since that brings out a lot more details. My pictures aren't balanced for a white background and a lot of the finer details are lost in this small format.
Edit: Replaced after a few hours with a slightly tighter crop
