According to the Dai Viet Su Ky the message and the material found in the pagoda, is built around the first century VII-X and to be completed, the Ly Tong Nam Dinh Dau, age of Thai Binh Thuy Long 4th (1057)
Years of war in 1947, the pagoda was destroyed completely.In 1958, the pagoda was built to spare. In 1991 the pagoda was built according to the scale of architecture.
