<?>

It's been a while since I have been back to the beach at Cabarita.

Couldn't see any clouds in the sky when I got up, but decided to go anyway - when I got to the beach it started to sprinkle, as if we haven't had enough rain here lately!

But as the light started to appear, it stopped raining and the clouds started to dissipate showing of the gorgeous colours of the new day!

I Did want to try for a long exposure with the Big Stopper, but didn't have much luck. After the first two and a half minutes of the total exposure of 6 minutes, a rouge wave swirled around the tripod sending it shimmering further down in the sand, so that was aborted. :-) (must admit I thought I had it far enough in the sand, but....... live and learn.)

The second try was too underexposed which was a real shame, as the golden clouds were moving diagonally to the left and the grey clouds were moving diagonally to the right, which did look really cool.... another day me think. I does take a long time with the big stopper, as I've got the noise reduction on - so a 6 minutes exposure becomes to 12 minutes and then the light is gone :-(
