Bromo
Today I show you one of the most amazing places I have ever visited, Mount Bromo, an active volcano in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, on the island of Java, Indonesia, which we visited in 2019.
This volcano is one of the most active in the world with more than 50 eruptions in the last two centuries.
To photograph it at sunrise we had to wake up at 1:30 AM to take a Jeep that takes you up to the viewpoints, look for framing blindly, etc, but it was definitely worth it to contemplate the spectacle when it was light.
In the background you can also see the Semeru volcano which sadly has been topical just over a week ago when it erupted, causing several deaths, injuries and destruction 😞.
