Stay very still...

I must invest in a tri-pod.

 

Here I am standing in the middle of this rotten board that’s ready to crumble beneath my feet. I am using it as a makeshift bridge while this stream is no more than 6 inches from my feet. Oh did I mention its dark out?!

 

My plan is to set my camera on timer mode with a 30 second exposure and set it on the bridge. Well… It posed a bit of a problem because my lens was a little to long and the camera kept falling forward almost losing it in the water. So, I came up with another bright idea. I’ll put my brand new cell phone under the base of the lens to stable it. And badha-bing! The camera won’t fall forward. Ah, problem fixed.

 

I get my camera all set: focus, timer, exposure. I set it down with my cell phone under the lens and it hit me. WTF am I doing?

 

Like I said, I must invest in a tri-pod.
