“I feel myself slipping away, and thats ok”. My mom on her last day, as forthright as ever; just shy of her 98th birthday.

This took place 2 years ago. She was the backbone of our family and we all miss her terribly. It has taken this long to build enough emotional distance to show this photo. Thank you to everyone who understands.
