The Mona Lisa

 

Then again, this is why most people come to the Louvre in the first place. Leonardo da Vinci´s epic masterpiece the Mona Lisa is the most well known painting in the world and of course people flock in front of the bullet proof glass casing to get a view of the woman with the mysterious smile. I bet a lot of people felt like I did upon entering the room:

 

1) Yowsa, this is a crowded room and...

2) ..I thought that it would be bigger. The painting I mean.
