Niagara-on-the-Lake
For some reason all tours headed for the Niagara falls (at least if you´re travelling on the Canadian side of the border) seems to include a stop in the sleepy town called "Niagara-on-the-Lake". I can´t for a minute understand why.
As previously mentioned it is a sleepy city with a small main street filled with small stores selling stuff that you don´t either need or want. While my fellow passengers went for a stroll on the more or less designated tourist area I decided to explore the backstreets.
And guess what? I found... nothing. Just a big load of nothingness. So I did that for an hour or so and then went back to the bus. The funniest part was that two of the Indian guys had gotten so enchanted by the town that they ended up ignoring our itinerary and instead opted to take a cab to the falls about three hours later, effectively missing the entire Falls experience.
I guess that they apparently saw something here that I didn´t.
