The Stanley Cup
As a kid I played hockey which is a common thing for Swedes to do. I think I lasted a good seven years or so which is quite a feat considering that I sucked ass and really hated it for the most part. Since quitting I´ve pretty much strayed away from the sport as a whole but when coming to Toronto of course I had to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame, not the least since the receptionist at my old work place - a die hard hockey fanatic - had hyped the place to heavens (and no, she hadn´t even been there).
How was it? Well, it´s definitely worth the visit even if the endless rows of displays showing the puck that some dude scored the 3-2 goal in a game back in 1938 and shirts worn by the Montreal Canadiens back in the 50´s might not mean as much to me as to someone who really lives and dies by the sport.
