As my trusted guidebook puts it - "Jakarta is a hard city to love". Indeed it is. It is a monstrous piece of a city where huge slabs of concrete make up the skyline. It is dirty, filled with less fortunate citizens among the lucky few, crumbling by the minute. Almost ten million people resides here making it the given capital of Indonesia.
