Hippodrome Of Ashgabat

 

Entrance to the Ashgabat Hippodrome is free and therefore a visit to the Sunday races is a popular pasttime of the Ashgabat citizens. A lot of the spectators where young men, no women where present making since this isn´t seen as a place fit for a woman of any age. I was also told that gambling and betting was illegal, still that didn´t seem to bother the countless men waving with thick wads of cash before and after the races started.
