Yrsgal Hotel, mary, Turkmenistan.

 

So it wasn´t The Ritz, I´ll tell you that much right away, but Yrsgal Hotel is neither the best or the worst place that I´ve stayed at. The best thing about the place was its location, pretty much as central as you could get in Mary. In front of the building was a weird looking park that must have looked pretty fancy in the old days but now had been allowed to degenerate to a bleak shadow of what used to be.
