Bangkok, Thailand.
After our past attempt at a vacation went bust we finally managed to find some time again. We went back and forth between Thailand and Vietnam and ended up with the former, partly because the diving reportedly is better there.
I was kind of nervous arriving in Thailand as my passport had less than six months of validity and the Thai embassy had said that I needed a temporary passport to get in. But when trying to get one, the Swedish police refused and told me that it wouldn't be a problem. So off I went, armed with a scanned page from the IATA handbook, hoping for the best. In the end, it worked out just fine.
We arrived in Bangkok in the wee early hours of the morning and our room wasn't ready. We hence decided to explore our neighborhod for a while before coming back and crashing our bed.
