Buying streetfood in Nanjing. My standard choice when I eat street food snacks in China is a meat filled "Bao" which is a bun with filling inside that´s being steamed in a multitray bamboo steamer. These can be found anywhere in China and is as cheap as it is delicious - expect a price around 1 Yuan (roughly 0.10 Euro).
