We found this obviously very tired girl sleeping at a 24/7-joint next to our hotel while looking for something to eat at 4 AM. Since the subway stop running early japanese party people often end up sleeping the night away at bookstores or food parlours. Which is perfectly fine as long as you order something.
It took us a while to figure out how to order (you had to feed a machine with coins, make your pick and then hand the receipt to the cook) but after that we could enjoy our first breakfast in Tokyo.
Me - a steaming bowl of rice, meat and veggies.
Mikael - a steaming bowl of rice and some slices of ginger.
It sucks to be a vegetarian in the land of seafood.
