Cleopatra's Needle
Cleopatra's Needle on the North bank of the Thames by Embankment Station. It was built 3500 years ago, over 1500 years before London was built, and given to London in 1819 by the then Egyptian ruler Muhammad Ali to commemorate victories by Nelson and Abercromby in 1801.
Shot during my first mooch with my new camera, a Nikon D7100.
