Stung Meanchey Municipal Waste Dump, outskirts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Over 100 acres (400,000 square meters), 900 tons of garbage dumped daily. Roughly 2,000 people, about 600 of which are children, live and work there.
Also known as Smoky Mountain, because the waste creates methane as it rots, and the methane burns.
