The Heals Have Eyes
I would love to say that the Heals & Son staircase is a place that’s always been on my visit list but to be honest I didn’t even know about it until Vulture Labs and Martin Turner both posted terrific versions of it around a year ago… after that it I had it in the back of my mind to pay it a visit but I thought that I’d leave it a good few months as their compositions were fresh in my head and I didn’t want them to influence my shot!
Anyway a week or so ago I arrived in London a little early for work so I decided to swing past the store to kill some time… I couldn’t quite believe my eyes though the staircase had undergone a makeover and a 64 arm Bocci Chandelier has been installed… also you’re now allowed to access the bottom floor (this had always been staff only).
Needless to say it took a couple of visits for me to be totally happy with the way that everything in the shot was lined up, I’m sure that the staff started to recognise me LOL but one of the nicest things about Heals is that they seem to embrace people visiting and taking pictures of their staircase… and why shouldn’t they it’s a thing of beauty!!
Many thanks to everyone who has commented on and faved my last photo it made No1 in explore… have a great week all :-)
