St Pauls

After Open House I got the chance to meet up with flickr buddies Martin Turner and The Green Album, we decided to head over to One New Change to see if we could catch a sunset over St Paul's, the sky looked just right for a descent sunset... but this was as good as it it got.

 

I had orginally shot this with HDR in mind but after processing it just looked wrong so I went for a single exposure instead; I would have liked to get a wider angle but compositions from up here are quite difficult as the roof from the shopping centre tends to hamper the shot.

 

Anyway the light faded with a whimper and the weather turned cold so we decided to head to the pub for a couple of pints and a chat; it was a nice way to end the day and it was great meeting you guys!!
