Bored Security Guard

I don’t know why but when I saw this guy, something made me feel for him, maybe he enjoys what he does for all I know, but at that moment I saw a picture of someone for whom life hadn’t gone the way he wanted it to.

 

Childhood dreams of greater adventures that never went beyond the playground. It seems that could apply to many people only with a thicker veneer of happiness and satisfaction, but for this man, he doesn't hide it.

 

What at first might seem a whimsical photo, starts to become painful on reflection, or maybe I’m just reading too much into it.
